Enrollments must be in place and all of the following transactions and activities must post and settle to your Prime Interest checking account during each Monthly Cycle: 

  • At least 12 debit card purchases
  • Be enrolled in and agree to receive e-statements
  • At least 1 ACH debit or credit posted to the account monthly

That's all there is to it. And don't worry if you don't meet your qualifications during the cycle. Your Prime Interest checking account is and will always be free. Plus, you'll still earn our base interest rate. Then you can get right back to earning your full rewards the very next month.

Qualifications Information: To earn your rewards just do the following transactions and activities in your PRIME INTEREST CHECKING account during each monthly statement cycle:

  • Debit cards: 12 point of sale debit card purchases must post & settle to your account per monthly statement cycle
  • e-statements: Be enrolled and receive your monthly account statement electronically
  • ACH Debit or Credit transactions: At least one (1) ACH credit or one (1) ACH debit must post to your account per monthly statement cycle

Monthly Statement Cycle: Your Prime Interest Checking statement cycle begins on the first business day of each month and ends on the last business day of each month.

Interest/dividends and ATM fee reimbursements will be credited to your Prime Interest Checking account on the last day of statement cycle during which you qualified.

Limit 1 account per social security number/individual taxpayer identification number. 

We reimburse ATM withdrawal fees based on estimates when the withdrawal information we receive does not identify the ATM fee. If you have not received an appropriate reimbursement, we will adjust the reimbursement amount if we receive the transaction receipt within sixty (60) calendar days of the withdrawal transaction.

Reward Information: When your Prime Interest account qualifications are met during a monthly statement cycle, (1) Daily Balances up to $25,000 receive APY of 4.07%; and daily balances over $25,000 earn an APY of 0.350% on the portion of balance over $25,000, resulting in a range from 4.07% to 0.35% APY depending on the account’s balance and (2) you will receive reimbursements up to $25 for nationwide ATM fees incurred during the monthly statement cycle in which you qualified. If you do not meet the eligibility requirements during the statement cycle, the rate paid in your account on the entire balance will be 0.010% with an annual percentage yield of 0.01% and ATM fees are not refunded.  APY = Annual Percentage Yield. APYs accurate as of 11/01/2022. Rates and rewards are variable and may change any time after account is opened at our discretion. Fees may reduce earnings.

Additional Information: Account approval, conditions, qualifications, limits, timeframes, enrollments, log-ons and other requirements apply. $25 minimum deposit is required to open the account.  There are no recurring monthly service charges or fees to open or close this account. There are no maximum or minimum interest rate limits for this account.
